「成田山平和大塔まつり奉納総踊り」は、
1984年4月の弘法大師1150年の御遠忌にあたり、
世界平和と万民の幸福を祈願して建立された「成田山平和大塔」の落慶を記念して始められました。
旧成田町７町の女人講をはじめ、市内各団体の皆様が揃いの浴衣姿で、成田山表参道・成田山大本堂前・平和大塔で踊りを奉納します。

Naritasan Peace Great Pagoda was built in April 1984 on the 1,150th anniversary of the death of Kobo Daishi,
Naritasan Peace Great Pagoda was built to pray for world peace and the happiness of all people.
On Saturday, May 11, the women’s dance troupes from seven former Narita towns and other groups from around the city will perform in yukata and dedicate their dances on the Naritasan Omotesando, in front of the Naritasan Main Hall, and at the Peace Great Pagoda.
